Photogpraphy: Project Alicia

Welcome to Project AliciaAnother find from a working photographer, welcome to Project Alicia!

“I discovered a love for photography the first time I held an SLR… Frogs, snakes, and spiders are frequent subjects with my critter lovin’ youngins. I also capture many of our road adventures & candid life moments, much to my children’s dismay.”

You will find some excellent galleries of deeply personal photos, taken with love and care from a deeply personal point of view, starting with her website banner image which caught my eye immediately. Alicia captures exactly what she wants, when she wants, how she wants. There’s a lively retro feel to some of these shots which I mean in the most complimentary way.

Project Alicia - lightboxA regular ‘challenge’ photographer, see  “The Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge… Oct 7th-Nov 25th. Join Rebecca of Bumbles & Light, Kristi of Live and Love out Loud and me for a colorfully inspiring photography challenge aimed at capturing the beautiful shades of autumn.”

On photography, Alicia says:
“I’ve had a DSLR for a few years now, but it’s just been in the last year or so that my photography has really taken off. I attribute it to a couple better lenses, the new and improved world of photoshop, and a whole lot of trial and error. “

Project Alicia - My Little ManYou can see from the galleries a diverse range of subjects, styles and techniques, from landcape to macro, people, animals and nature. I also like the well crafted and understated website design. RC
