This week’s theme is getting more followers on your social media pages. We’ll kick off with some tips for increasing your Facebook lover count.
Should I buy fans?
NO! Not only is this extremely poor practice it’s also likely to get your entire page shut down.
Right, now that we’ve got that taken care of…
If you want visitors to like your business web page on Facebook, you have to follow one fundamental rule: publish content material that people will respond to. This could include:
- Humorous photos – so long as they’re appropriate to your organisation (i.e. simply no Lolcats), funny images can generate plenty of engagement.
- Competitions – when held consistent with Facebook’s rules, competitions may generate plenty of likes and shares of one’s content, and put your web page before new prospects.
- Questions – asking people’s views is a superb way to encourage them to interact. Suggestion: make certain you’re clear in what you’re requesting, and what you want people to do. For example, “Who was your favourite teacher in school?” is a clear and direct query that invites a response.
Once you’ve created a compelling Facebook page with lots of fun, interactive content material, it’s time and energy to tell the entire world about any of it. Facebook has its ‘Invite Friends’ function so you can talk to everyone you understand in ‘real daily life’ to like your organisation page. You can even install a plug-in on your own website so individuals can go right to your web page and ‘like’ it. Pep
